Nancy,
It seems like you have the perfect background for pharmaceutical sales but your resume needs to be stronger. To be honest with you, I would give it a 5 out 10. There are some things you can do right now to improve it.
Lets start with the objective. I don’t believe in objectives. You can include that information in the cover letter. You should start your resume with a Profile, Summary, or Headline. This is where you need to capure the readers attention.
Secondly, you need to be more creative with the dates and how your work experience is displayed. At first glance, it would appear that you have a lot of jobs within a short time frame. I realize that some of these jobs were during college. You need to differentiate this. Most recruiters and managers only glance at resumes and make very quick impressions and decisions.
Lastly,
You need to really emphasize results. What have you accomplished thus far in sales. You should add at least 3 bullets and talk about your accomplishments.
If you implement these suggestions, you will bring your resume up to an 8 or 9 overnight.
Good luck and feel free to email me at daniel@yoursalesresume if you have any questions

I am always trying to improve my resume!!
Joan,
i am sorry for the delayed response, I was on vacation.. I want to start to saying your resume looks pretty good but certainly can be improved upon. Starting at the the top, the profile is average at best. The opening of your resume is where you need to draw the reader in. Your profile is really an objective that you are calling a profile. My suggestion would be to write a profile/summary. This should be at least 3 sentences.
The education section look great.
You have only been with ADP for several months, so I understand you do not have a ton of accomplishments yet, but as the months build up, you want to keep adding bullets of accomplishments, rankings, awards, % of quota, etc… This is the most important content to include on your resume.
Overall, your resume looks good and needs only minor changes, the look and feel can be jazzed up with a more up to date format and proper bolding and better use of fonts.
As you gain more experience over the next year or two, you should focus on building up the ADP experience and focusing less on the academic.
Drop me a line or email if you would like to discuss further.
Best of luck,
Daniel
